Take a Leave for Other Reasons

If an employee needs to take a leave unrelated to medical reasons, such as military service or jury duty, they should consider the following:

  • Request a leave through Sedgwick, and
  • If there isn’t a specific leave available to the employee, the employee may request a personal leave through Sedgwick. Personal leaves are meant for reasons not covered by other specific leaves and are discretionary depending upon the reason and business needs.
